Situated on one of the best-preserved Croatian islands, The Isolano Autograph Collection represents the first major investment of the Marriott brand in Croatian islands. This luxurious five-star boutique hotel is located near the very center of Cres, just a ten-minute walk from the sea, and since its opening in October 2024, it has become a symbol of the fusion of modern design and authentic island heritage. An investment worth 17 million euros has enabled the opening of this exclusive hotel, which offers guests a unique experience of staying in 49 luxuriously furnished rooms and apartments, many of which provide panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea.

The hotel is designed with a focus on sustainability, using natural materials such as stone from Brač, creating an atmosphere of deep connection with the environment. Guests have access to a modern wellness center covering 500 m², which includes saunas, massage rooms, and a gym, along with two outdoor heated pools. In addition, The Isolano offers top-notch gastronomic services with various restaurants and bars, including a beach bar, and an event hall that is ideal for all types of gatherings.

Authentic island experience

One of the greatest advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the historic center of Cres and untouched Mediterranean beaches, which are easily accessible from the hotel. The design of the interiors and exteriors is conceived to reflect the rich cultural heritage of the island, including the Venetian influence that has been present in Cres's architecture for centuries. Local architect Kristina Zanić, responsible for the interior design, has created a space where modern meets tradition, using a boho style to bring elements of freshness and creativity into the hotel ambiance.

Special attention is paid to sustainability and environmental preservation, which aligns with global trends in ecological tourism. The hotel uses energy-efficient systems, allowing guests to personalize their stay through smart technologies such as lighting and temperature control. Guests can even use their mobile devices as room keys, ensuring a high level of convenience and security.

Exclusive service and luxury

The hotel is intended for adults and older teenagers (12+), ensuring a relaxing atmosphere free from noise. The hotel employs 65 highly trained staff under the mentorship of general manager Mario Ivić, who is responsible for providing excellent service to guests. With the possibility of personalizing every detail, The Isolano attracts guests from all over the world, including the United States and countries across Europe, making it an unmissable part of luxury tourism on the Adriatic.

This project not only contributes to positioning Cres and Croatia as a luxury tourist destination but also opens doors to new investments in island tourism, enhancing the overall tourist offer of Croatia. A grand opening ceremony of the hotel is planned for spring 2025, further promoting the island's tourist offer in the upcoming season.
