Members of the Croatian Air Force, Staff Sergeant Tomislav Brezak and Staff Sergeant Zvonimir Mareković, have completed a prestigious training program at the U.S. Air Force Leadership School, known as the "TSgt. Adam K. Ginett Airman Leadership School – ALS." This program, held at Aviano Air Base in Italy, represents a key step in their professional development, providing them with the skills necessary for effective leadership within military structures.

A five-week training for the development of future leaders
The program, which lasts for five weeks, includes an intensive curriculum consisting of 12 core subjects designed to enhance personal and command skills. Through these subjects, participants gain the knowledge and abilities necessary for effective squad leadership, which is crucial for the operational success of air forces.

Enhancing interoperability within NATO
One of the important aspects of this training is strengthening interoperability among allied armed forces within NATO. By participating in this program, Croatian soldiers not only improve their military skills but also build stronger bonds with members of the U.S. Air Force, contributing to collective security and more effective operations within the alliance.

Preparation for future challenges
This course represents a significant step forward in the professional development of our soldiers, enabling them to be ready for the future challenges they will face during their careers. Successfully completing this training means that Staff Sergeant Brezak and Staff Sergeant Mareković are now equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to take on leading roles within their units, contributing to the strengthening of the operational capabilities of the Croatian Air Force.

Valuable experiences and lessons learned
In addition to expert lessons and exercises, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other militaries, further enriching their perspective and professional development. This international cooperation and knowledge exchange are crucial for building capabilities that transcend national borders, all in the aim of achieving common defense goals.
